Responsibility
- support the maintenance of accurate customer-facing documents and web content across all savings products including brochures, T&Cs and customer communications
- make lending decisions in line with Credit Risk Policy, Responsible Lending Policy and individual mandate level
- manage a team of customer service representatives, handling all incoming and outgoing communication for existing customers

- support the annual product review process

- ensure that telephone calls, emails and letters are processed within set service standards and in line with key performance indicators
- work with the marketing team to propose and execute successful campaigns
- review and signing offer letters and file drawdown
- attendance at Watchlist and Recoveries meetings and Business Management Committee to provide timely and accurate reports of key account progress
- prepare and manage functional specification documents and change requests
- support the delivery of efficiencies relating to product processes
- monitoring WIP to ensure appropriate allocation of cases and accurate cash flows
- conduct regular first line quality checks and feedback results
- work with the relevant Committees to prioritise the content of business support releases in line with department strategy
- helping to develop others by sharing best practice
- ensure that applications are processed within set service standards and in line with key performance indicators
- adhere to internal customer management policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, Money Laundering, Prevention of Financial Crime, Data Protection etc
- be integral to the release management cycle ensuring bugs and changes are well understood, prioritised and delivered regularly
- complete people management activity within the team, including monthly 1 to 1’s, performance monitoring and objective reviews
- effectively manage and take on the project management of more complex system related projects either as part of a programme or standalone, and deliver these to agreed timelines, scope and quality
- liaise with QA manager to ensure regular first line quality checks are carried out and results feedback
- operational ownership of account servicing platform
- work with all AF teams to scope, plan and deliver enhancements to Asset Finance systems to improve user experience and internal efficiency
- allocate tasks and oversee contact activity for customers that are both up to date and in financial difficulty to ensure positive customer outcomes
- plan, Manage and conduct testing of release packages to ensure they are fit for purpose prior to business unit handover
- adhere to internal policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, AML, Prevention of Financial Crime, and Data Protection etc
- analyse MI and produce timely reports on business trends
- collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure business and systems requirements are understood to provide effective end to end delivery of enhancements to the system
- consider and communicate opportunities and potential risks attached to the release package prior to delivery
- identify opportunities and proactively make recommendations for continuous improvement
- to manage all system issues from the point they are raised through to resolution including the development of suitable solutions
- undertake project and ad-hoc pieces of work at management request
- incident Management and Problem Management
- optimise the efficiency of the department through improving technical processes in line with the department operation
- plan and manage smoke testing for deployments that impact Asset Finance. The release may be for other areas and out of core hours
- monitoring of CRRs / LTV’s/ Loan Conditions and report to the Operations Manager who will present/discuss to credit in the monthly book review
- provide support and assist the Operations Manager and Team as and when required
- adhere to internal policy and regulatory requirements – FCA, PRA, AML, Prevention of Financial Crime, GDPR etc
Requirements
- IT literate, numerate and a good understanding of Cloud banking platforms would be preferable
- experience managing projects within financial services covering the full project lifecycle and release management cycle
- at least 4 years’ experience working in UK retail banking

- strong understanding of the regulatory environment
