Responsibility
- the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all QA policies and procedures

- focus on corrective actions in order to make sure that products meet required specifications
- scheduling calibrations and maintaining records
- first in First Out inventory management
- complete and maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing
- identify, label, date, and make a daily inventory list of all WIP products in the coolers
- responsible for ensuring effectiveness of trainings provided
- the QA Manager provides leadership, support, and guidance directly to their team and indirectly and directly to other plant personnel to ensure; food quality standards, food safety guidelines, legal requirements and customer expectations are met
- production Line Quality Checks including product quality, case quality, Tsunami checks, Metal detector check and room temperature checks
- mentoring and coaching the QA team
- obtains compliance documents from suppliers and vendors
- fill out Non-conforming form for products not in specification
- supporting Head of Technical during audits and visits from any 3rd parties
- updating and tracking all QMFS document changes
- they will assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practice , validating processes and ensuring full adherence to customer requirements
- put Non-conforming products on Hold
- work with the senior leadership team including production manager to ensure products meet all customer requirements
- mock Recalls
- maintain Hold release log
- ensuring that QA team are stringently following the RAG system at goods in
- internal audits Directs and schedules customer, 3rd party, and regulatory audits
- responsible for reviewing and highlighting any gaps or further improvement in quality policies and procedures to Head of Technical
- they will assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good automated manufacturing practice systems, validating processes, providing documentation, and managing staff
- serve as member HACCP Team
- completes audit checklist and is responsible for the completion of any corrective actions issued
- ensuring the completion of employee training activities designed to keep employees knowledgeable, informed, and in compliance with food quality and safety standards and procedures relevant to their job function
- train employees
- overseeing and ensuring all measuring equipment are calibrated as per schedule and records are maintained for audit purposes
- ability to investigate customers’ rejections/complaints/internal incidents, finding root cause and suggesting corrective actions as appropriate
- conduct internal audits as per schedule and instruction from Head of Technical
- keeps up to date with relevant international, federal, state and local regulations
- investigates customer complaints using root cause analysis and works with department managers to determine what corrective and preventative actions are necessary
- ensure all current certification requirements are met as well as the addition and/or compliance of any new required certification
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- update and maintain the non conformance and rejection tracker, highlighting any trends to the Head of Technical
- responds to complaints in the required timeframe
- maintains the Quality Management Food Safety system
- prepares a monthly written report for management recapping food safety and quality issues, trends, corrective actions, and preventive measures taken
- orders lab supplies and additional items as necessary
- conducting as well as active participation in any other Technical and Quality projects/tasks, as per the instruction from Head of Technical
- relays audit schedule to necessary personnel
- ensures the food quality and safety procedures outlined in the QMFS are communicated to all necessary personnel and correctly implemented
- leads annual management review- any changes made and verifies their compliance with food safety and quality standards
- reviews and approves monitoring activities to ensure food safety parameters are met
- tracks completion of corrective action and verifies preventative actions

- internal Audit, PCQI, HACCP, and SFQ Practitioner certification preferred
