Responsibility
- there will be an annual performance review
- care Park UK Ltd have a great opportunity for an experienced PSV mechanic to join the transport team at their Manchester airport site
- care Park operate a 24/7 airport car park just outside of Manchester airport and use a fleet of 3 buses to transfer their customers to and from the airport terminals
- these buses require regular maintenance by qualified mechanics who can handle the pressures of keeping 2 of the 3 buses in permanent operation and maintaining the buses to DVSA standards
- care Park will offer their new team member up to £45k per year as well as free use of the airport car park. They also offer additional pay if the work requires you to work on a bank holiday
- care Park would expect you to commit to working 40 hours per week Including being on call on a shift rotation which carries a premium
- ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner
Requirements
- previous experience as a PSV Technician/ Mechanic/ Fitter is essential
- ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- PSV Driving Licence is desirable
- previous experience working with Alexander Dennis vehicles would be desirable
