- due to an increase in sales and future planned growth, we have vacancies for Driver/Warehouse Operatives for an immediate start in our busy distribution centre
- deliveries completed accurately, efficiently and safely
- collect and check the accuracy of payments given by Tyre Spot customers, ensuring these are delivered to Head Office
- collect and check the accuracy of payments given by Tyre Spot customers, ensuring these are delivered back to Depot
- warehouse work completed accurately, efficiently and safely
- daily vehicle checks
- collection of scrap tyre casings
- occasional cover at other distribution warehouses - McMullen Road and Rothbury Terrace
- occasional cover at other distribution warehouse - Drum Road, Birtley
- ensure tyre casings, scrap and rubbish is processed at Head Office efficiently
- assist with and maintain good housekeeping at your place of work at all times which includes regular cleaning and tidying of warehouse and communal areas
- ensure all inbound stock is unloaded and stored correctly in the relevant warehouse location
- assist other team members to ensure products are picked on time and deliveries leave as required
- inform line Manager immediately of any stock discrepancies discovered whilst picking tyres or other related items
- inform line Manager immediately of any stock discrepancies discovered whilst unloading or storing tyres or other related items
- ensure all picked tyres and related items are brought to the correct location for loading onto delivery vehicles
- undertake accurate stock taking and stock reviews as required
- accurately and efficiently load tyres and related items ordered by Tyrespot depot’s via inter-branch transfers using Tyrespot delivery vehicles
