  • receptionist

Responsibility

  • administration of medical reports and patient-related correspondence; data input via read-codes; summarising of new patient notes
  • to deal with routine queries from patients, and to direct patients to other appropriate sources of information and assistance
  • to help ensure that the reception area is clean, tidy and well-maintained
  • arranging appointments for patients using the electronic booking system
  • processing repeat prescription requests within the required 48 hours
  • you will be expected to provide cover for other Reception / Admin staff during times of sickness or annual leave
  • other reception/admin duties, within reason, requested of them by the Practice Manager, Partners or nurse
