vehicle technician / mechanic
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- diagnose and repair vehicle systems including brakes, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, and electrical
- perform preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks
- test drive vehicles to diagnose and identify mechanical problems
- inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with regulations
- perform basic repairs such as replacing brakes, hoses, and belts
- use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle issues
Requirements
- at least NVQ Level 3
- experience working on vehicles in a garage/workshop environment
- competency in numeracy, literacy and IT
- honesty and integrity
- ability to work to deadlines and targets
- ability to work independently and to assist others when required
- confident, professional and polite communication skills and good personal presentation
- full and clean driving license
