Responsibility

• job Title: Operations Manager
• to work with the COO to ensure that the cathedral reaches its objectives, safeguarding the future of the cathedral and its reputation. Thereby enabling the cathedral to impact worship, culture, and heritage in Cornwall
• management of the cathedral’s teams, as noted above, and delivery against targets and objectives for those areas and teams. Ensure all visitors are welcomed, that hospitality is available and that retail opportunities are maximised
• hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week, flexible across seven days depending on operational requirements
• bonus: A 5% bonus for contribution better than all relevant budgets applies
• line manager: Chief Operating Officer
• regular reporting and feedback on cathedral activity, KPI data and updates at relevant cathedral meetings and updates to operating teams
• attend and participate in training courses as directed. Attend and participate in training courses as directed
• direct reports: Vergers, Catering, Operations, Retail, Cleaning, Welcome and Events teams
