- ensuring safety and well-being and the quality of support given meets the identified needs of the individual student
- complete all plans and reports in a timely and accurate manner
- assist the Registered Manager to monitor expenditure and operate financial systems correctly
- maintain good communication both within the home and with appropriate external agencies
- ensure training requirements for all staff are in line with their personal development plans
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- enthusiastic about providing the best care, making a positive impact to someone’s life
- basic IT knowledge
- experience of working with children and young people in a residential care environment
- QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care Children and Young People or similar
- understanding of child development & childcal, learning & emotional needs
- hold a DBS, ideally on the update system – if not we can complete this on your behalf
- preferably a full driving licence with access to transport
- full driving licence with access to own transport
