operations manager
Responsibility
- leading the Production and Logistics Managers to deliver service within agreed timescales, quality and cost
- working with courier companies to present innovative, cost-effective solutions for the final delivery of devices to the end users
- warehouse accuracy and efficiency – ensuring customer owned stock is presented professionally and with high levels of availability
- identify and implement possible improvements with the Technical or Business Intelligence departments on customer requirements
- support through training and coaching high quality standards across the team’s output
- identify and resolve technical issues within the team and liaise with colleagues and suppliers
- liaise with the wider Customer team on progress of projects, orders and swaps
- working with other TRG facilities to promote best practice and right first-time methodology
Requirements
- working to KPIs and budgets to deliver service efficiently
- proactive, self-accountable and self-motivated with the ability to perform within tight time constraints
- attention to detail with the confidence to ask for help when required
- experience of managing a team with a wide range of skills and responsibilities in a customer facing environment; with communication skills across all levels internally and externally
