Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- to work closely with the management teams to drive and improve Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability standards
- to carry out safety risk assessments
- to conduct in-house training sessions on Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability awareness
- with support, to produce and deliver strategic plans for HSE performance, considering corporate and customer requirements
- to proactively promote the HSE strategy to drive safety and cultural improvements
- to review and update all company procedures in accordance with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 ensuring they meet industry safety standards
- to keep abreast of corporate, regulatory, and legislative changes and advise management on the implications
- produce management reports as required
Education
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification
- relevant experience of managing HSE, preferably within a manufacturing/engineering environment
- working knowledge and use of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- proactive, self-starter with leadership and influencing skills
- passion and drive to make a difference to Health, Safety and Environment within the business
- ability to translate legislation into everyday language
- competent administrative and IT skills
