• supporting the implementation of the annual sales plan, as agreed with the Pre-Construction Manager, and provide regular reports on progress
• supporting the implementation of the annual sales plan, as agreed with the Commercial Manager, and provide regular reports on progress
• identifying new sales opportunities working closely with the marketing department

• maintaining relationships with present customers and to attempt to renew relationships with previous customers
• professionally representing the Company in all sales related issues
• enhancing the relevant market knowledge within the Company
• objective: Accurate estimation of costs and the preparation of tender documentation for submission to potential clients
• maintaining up to date records on sales activity and regularly report on progress against the agreed sales
• executing the estimating process from sending enquiries, to getting departmental input, to providing the handover presentation on contract award
• ensuring tender submission is in line with relevant standards / regulations and project specification
• assisting the project team on start-up phase with major item requisitions and order planning when required
• maintaining a database of material, sub-contracts, labour, and other relevant information

Responsibility

• ensure an economical but sufficient level of materials are maintained in stock to meet planned production requirements
• assist Sales staff in advising Customers on any relevant issues relating to the preparation of their specification or idea and production timeframes etc
• ensure both Workshop and Yard are always maintained in a clean and tidy state and complies with Company’s H&S Standards

• stock in Yard should be stored in a safe and tidy manner and any surplus materials from production or site are checked in a timely manner before either returning to stock or disposal

• ensure company property and documentation is maintained in a secure and neat manner demonstrating professionalism in its use
• ensure products and materials are used effectively and any surplus to requirements are returned/singed to stores on completion of contract/job
