Responsibility
- we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our wonderful team
- tomberries is a lovely private home-from-home setting with a brand-new unit catering for 60 children aged 12months-5 years old
- manage and oversee all aspects of the organization's operations
- develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- lead and motivate a team of employees to ensure high performance and productivity
- to work under the direction of the nursery manager and deputize in the manager's absence
- establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
- monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure the organization's financial health
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Director or similar position
- successful applicants will need a minimum level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent
- strong knowledge of organizational management principles and practices
- proven post-qualification experience in working in early education and childcare.Proven experience of line managing staff
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to help the Nursery Manager to manage the nursery's resources to ensure expenditure is in line with its budget
- demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- ability to effectively manage resources and budgets
