bookkeeper
Responsibility
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quickbooks accounting software
- process the company monthly payroll
- process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
- assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
- prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, management reports, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will work closely with our chartered accountants
Requirements
- proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- highly experienced in QuickBooks accounting & payroll software
- AAT level 4 qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
- experience managing multiple income streams
- POS system & finance reporting experience
- familiarity with POS systems
- experience producing monthly management accounts including prepayments, accruals, stock and fixed assets depreciation
- VAT & Tax planning experience
