residential childcare worker

Responsibility

  • support the implementation of organisational policies and care philosophies
  • assist in maintaining financial records in line with company policies
  • participate in staff meetings and young people’s reviews as required
  • report any illnesses, accidents, or concerns to Senior Staff or Management
  • ensure each young person's needs are met through effective assessment and care planning
  • support service reviews and quality improvement initiatives
  • assist young people in developing essential life skills, participating in education, and engaging in recreational activities
  • maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection policies

Requirements

  • full UK driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle when required
  • understanding of emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties in children and young people

Requirements

Responsibility

  • perform any other reasonable duties as assigned
  • notify the Managers promptly in case of an inability to report for duty
  • attend mandatory training sessions as required
  • REPORTING TO: Registered Manager
  • ensure that each young person’s needs are effectively met through thorough assessment and care planning
  • participate in staff and young people’s meetings as needed and maintain accurate records
  • supervise and direct staff in the absence of the Managers, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently
  • assist in maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies
