Responsibility
- diagnose and resolve faults, machine emergencies or unplanned problems in a systematic and logical manner
- problem solves one off and recurring issues to implement effective corrective actions
- providing regular feedback to Managers on operational and maintenance issues
- you will be involved with a variety of projects such as, PPM, Continuous Improvement and New Machinery Installations along with other colleagues within the company
- another key attribute as a Maintenance Engineer is to be able to plan and apply forward thinking, to ensure limited downtime
- ideally being electrically biased with a mechanical skill set , will mean that your role is varied due to the nature of the company and the challenges which you will be faced with on a daily basis
- develop and update the CMMS system and feedback on the daily job log, identify spares required and assist in the ordering process, also maintain the current stock of spares within the department
Education
- city and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or above
- broad knowledge of CNC production machinery
- knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical presses preferred but not essential
- electrical and PLC fault finding knowledge
Requirements
- previous Experience as an Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is essential
- experience working in a Fast Paced environment would be beneficial
- fault Finding skills
- flexible and agile with a forward thinking approach to engineering
- you will need to be competent in dealing with breakdowns on various Production Machinery
- have a commitment to quality and teamwork
- maintenance: 1 year
