Responsibility
- to assist with staff scheduling and implementation of shop rota in support of the Retail Manager
- to assist the Retail Manager with health/safety and welfare support as required
- to assist the Retail Manager with the mentoring of shop staff and in staff training
- to support Retail Manager in training and induction of new and existing staff including ongoing training to develop staff skills
- to engage in ongoing professional development, supported by the Retail Manager and York Ghost Merchants, to further personal abilities and experience
- to help promote a joyful, safe, and imaginative workplace. A place where good practice and staff wellbeing are at its core
- to support the Retail Manager in organising all aspects of the day to day shop operation including queue management, staff duties, stock management, shop maintenance/cleaning
- to uphold, promote and encourage by example the core values of The York Ghost Merchants
