Responsibility

  • the Chinnor Village Centre is a not-for-profit charity located in Chinnor, South Oxfordshire
  • A central meeting point for a variety of activities, including a Community Café, allowing the local parishes to connect and socialise
  • to coordinate activities and trips and to consult with clients for ideas for new activities
  • to organise transport requirements; sourcing volunteers and organising rotas of volunteer minibus/car drivers and escorts and general volunteers as required
  • good communication and good people skills are essential
  • maintain confidentiality of all client information at all times
  • it offers a place and space for the use of the local community; focused on the provision of care, companionship, security and friendship
  • to manage within agreed budgets, to keep accurate financial records and to make grant applications
