THE STOCK SHOP is looking for employees for positions:
merchandiser
Responsibility
- key contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility
- planning weekly intake with the wider team. Liaising with suppliers to ensure all stock requirements are met
- work with the team to control branch stock levels, allocations and replenishment to branches as required
- we are looking to recruit an Assistant Merchandiser to support our Buying and Merchandising team based at our Head Office in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This position is for a fixed term period of approximately 12 to 15 months, to cover maternity leave
- provide analysis and summary of markdown and promotional activity for departments of responsibility and wider business
- responsible for ensuring that markdowns are on the system in line with the markdown calendar
- provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year
- in season trading under direction of the Merchandiser
