Responsibility
- plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate street dance sessions for primary school children
- foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel encouraged to express themselves
- adapt sessions to accommodate varying skill levels and ensure every child is engaged and challenged
- promote teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence through dance activities
- maintain excellent communication with parents, school staff, and The JR Sports Group team
- ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and best practices
- represent The JR Sports Group in a professional and enthusiastic manner
Requirements
- proven experience teaching street dance, preferably to children
- strong knowledge of street dance styles and techniques
- relevant qualifications in dance or performing arts
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to manage groups of children effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- valid DBS check
- first Aid and safeguarding training
