  • evidence of qualification to suit job role
  • knowledge of common software applications
  • company accounts package is Exchequer by IRIS
  • bookkeeping: 3 years

Responsibility

  • overseeing the Accounts Payable function and preparing payment runs for authorisation
  • overseeing the Accounts Receivable function including adequate debt collection procedures
  • managing foreign currency exposure
  • manage the accounting system to ensure consistent, accurate reporting
  • preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • preparing payroll monthly, including timely HMRC submissions
  • month end reporting to trial balance stage including pre-payments and accruals
  • dealing with external partners including accountants and other professional advisors
