- educate clients on proper self-care strategies and exercises to complement their massage therapy sessions
- maintain accurate client records and documentation of treatments
- collaborate with other members of the wellness team to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Requirements
- certification in sports therapy/physiotherapy/sports science, with a specialization in sports massage preferred
- proven experience in providing sports massage therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels
- strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics as they relate to sports and exercise
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- A passion for helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals
- ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
