Responsibility

  • ensure all the venue’s technical equipment is maintained to the required standards and that certifications are kept updated
  • responsible for working within budgets and controlling the technical departmental expenditure
  • responsible for the management and personal development of all technical staff as and when required
  • ensure the stage area and venue is clear of all obstacles prior to load in of any events
  • ensure that any external production are fully informed of grid heights, loads, H&S etc
  • ensure that all venue technical specification/information sheets are accurate and up to date
  • act as the primary contact for all technical queries both internal & external relating to audio/visual equipment and event planning from a technical perspective
  • ensure that a specific ‘technical rider’ is generated for every event following discussions with the relevant artists/production staff
