Requirements
previous sales, customer service, and management experience within a commercial fine art gallery environment
educated to degree level – ideally Modern Art History
experienced in Artlogic or Artlook gallery management software
competent Mac-based computer and IT skills
experienced in planning, and creating content for social media PR and marketing campaigns, to increase social media engagement
ability to tailor campaigns to suit intended social media goals for specific target audiences
understanding of social media reporting and analytics
good time management and highly organized
Responsibility
you will assist with the day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of the gallery
you will assist in resolving technical issues
you will be responsible for dealing with web enquiries and processing sales
your main role will be customer-focused with strong communication and sales skills, demonstrating a high level of customer service to achieve and support the gallery’s weekly and monthly sales targets
you will assist with the secure packaging of artworks, and delivery/shipping arrangements
you will assist with developing and implementing press and social media marketing campaigns, and the gallery’s ongoing social media profiles, to further develop the company’s brand
you will be responsible for the excellent presentation of this high-end gallery, so you will need a good eye for detail, and an aesthetic flair
