Responsibility
- general Dental Nurse duties including assisting clinicians, patient care. opportunity to gain extra skills and qualifications EG radiography and sedation
- we are looking for a motivated, caring and qualified dental nurse to work with our dedicated team
- setting and maintaining the standards of professional dental nursing within the practice
- overseeing the daily running of the clinical nursing role
- mentoring trainee and newly qualified nurses in all aspects of dental nursing
- provide input to the management team on nursing issues
- the Old Library Dental and Implant Centre is looking to recruit a GDC registered Dental Nurse to cover for maternity leave from September 2023 for a years contract and perhaps into a more permanent role
- organising and running Nurse Practice Meetings in order to develop and maintain standards of practice
Requirements
- qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification
- must have an active GDC number
- previous experience of at least one year
- must be a good team member to work flexibly with a very happy and capable dental team
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- commitment to providing high-quality patient care
