• the postholder will be the account manager for parts of the Confederations membership networks in England, with specific responsibility for the Primary Care Network

• write communications strategies and plans be responsible for the delivery of communications outputs, working closely with our External Affairs team who manage our media work
• the postholder will be assigned a primary account to work on but will support across the networks when needed
• in this role, you would play a key role in helping to advocate and influence on behalf of our members through top quality communications to secure the best possible outcomes for their communities
• A significant focus will be on developing and delivering communications and marketing activity that supports the recruitment and retention of NHS Confederation members, demonstrating our value to members by showing our influencing work and impact on their behalf
• this is a flexible arrangement that may be rotated in future
• the NHS Confederation consistently supports its members by making the case for policy change or helping them to adapt to changes in the external environment as such, the postholder should be comfortable working at pace and with shifting priorities
• as a Communications Manager, you will: Support the work of our member networks by creating creative communication and marketing plans that attract and retain members of NHS Confederation oversee a strategic and proactive approach to our member communications activity, ensuring we produce high quality content that meets the needs of our members

• although based in the venue in Leeds, you will be expected to travel across the UK for business development

• implementing the sales strategy for 2023/24 and working alongside the marketing team to ensure that both strategies are aligned to achieve the income target for the next financial year

• maintaining the strong relationships, the venue has with their current clients and along with the Reservations Co-ordinator providing customer focussed account management
• ensure that the products provided fit with the requirements of the clients and work with the venue team to develop if required
