Responsibility

  • we are in very close proximity to the Theatre Royal, so are especially popular at pre-theatre time for diners
  • the National Piping Centre is currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join The Pipers' Tryst restaurant staff, in the heart of Glasgow City Centre
  • the Pipers' Tryst, within The National Piping Centre, has a 40 seat restaurant serving top quality Scottish dishes with a modern twist, as well as housing an 8 bedroom boutique hotel
  • there is also an events space which is used to run weddings, with a seating capacity of 120, as well as special events, conferences, schools and more
  • you will be expected to work flexibly across shifts from breakfast to end of service in the restaurant and for large events within our venue

Requirements

  • experience working in a professional kitchen
  • competency in general running of the kitchen
  • maintaining cleanliness standards and HACCP checks
