Responsibility
- oversee the daily operation of Amanah Day Nursery, ensuring it adheres to the highest standards
- manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff rotas, to achieve and maintain outstanding care and educational standards
- mentor, guide, and develop the nursery team
- provide professional advice and support on child development
- manage and ensure safeguarding procedures are in place and all staff have up-to-date DBS
- develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, children, and childcare professionals
- manage budgets, meet targets, and oversee the nursery's financial health
- regularly update nursery policies in line with best practices and legislation
Requirements
- sound knowledge of child development and safeguarding
- prior experience in a private daycare setting and familiarity with current childcare legislation
- minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- strong management experience
- A passion for working in the Childcare Sector
