- mywaste Group - A Yorkshire based recycling and waste management company has a position for a Health & Safety Manager based at Maltings Organic Treatment and working across 3 sites, including North Yorkshire, Hull & Goole
- provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices
- the company is long established and have now gained planning permissions and permits to build and operate an array of waste facilities
- collaborate with management to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs
Requirements
- NEBOSH -Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- proven experience as a Safety Manager
- strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presenting findings
- ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective corrective actions
- detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- strong leadership abilities to influence and drive a culture of safety compliance
