Responsibility
- develop and expand our social media following by driving greater engagement with the community
- develop and implement a content strategy to increase awareness of our charity’s vision and activities, and promote our visitor centre
- marketing through various channels including email marketing, social media and web-based marketing
- create and develop external newsletters
- organise promotional events and develop a full Calendar of Events for both TSL and our visitor centre
- support with any fundraising activity, such as advertising events and creating engagement via social media
- evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and identify trends
- create consistent and engaging content on our social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc and develop our brand messaging
Requirements
- previous marketing experience is essential for this role
- proven experience developing social media platforms
- strong IT skills and a high attention to detail
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- must be willing for us to obtain an enhanced DBS check and due to the remote location of our offices, you must have access to your own transport
