Responsibility
- help and support the team with daily production of high-quality donuts
- collaborate with the team to develop new products
- develop and implement production schedules to ensure efficient and timely production every day
- improve our capacity, improve efficiency and reduce waste
- implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of taste, appearance, and freshness
- ensure allergen and traceability procedures are followed for both wholesale and retail deliveries
- maintain procedures to meet the statutory requirements of Government Agencies as well as working towards SALSA accreditation
- taking initiative to introduce new systems & procedures to improve the department
Requirements
- proven experience as a Head Baker or in a similar leadership role in a bakery, preferably with expertise in donuts
- creativity and ability to develop unique and innovative flavours
- strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage production schedules and inventory
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- baking: 2 years
