health service manager

Responsibility

  • to implement effective referral systems for a range of projects and services, including triaging referrals with coordinators and leads
  • to ensure effective management throughout by ensuring that we are able to meet project and funding stream requirements
  • utilise management information to prepare external and internal reporting and take appropriate actions to ensure project outcomes are met where necessary
  • leadership and Development Responsibilities Internal Directly provide suitable and supportive line management of individual members of the team, including regular scheduled supervision, case management , appraisal and performance management
  • ensure all workers within the service are provided with appropriate clinical and case management arrangements, providing this directly where appropriate and outsourcing where needed
  • external Ensure excellent relationships with external strategic and delivery partners, funders and commissioners
  • present information to a range of stakeholders in formats suitable for the audience to promote or report on services
  • to ensure effective communication including regular opportunities for staff to meet through development opportunities, full staff meetings and provide effective coordination and leadership

Responsibility

  • support the completion of management information reports to meet programme/ projectrequirements
  • ensure the management information system is completed in a timely way and quality checks are carried out
  • provide excellent communications with all stakeholders as required, using telephone, ICT and written communications
  • work and adhere to The Junctions values at all times
  • to work to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and families including excellent customer service skills through administrative functions, enabling accurate and efficient communication
  • to undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the post
  • work as directed by the Service Manager to support referral, assessments, and therapeutic appointments including efficient, uploading referral and clarifying information and processes to external referrers, diary management for services with a high dependency on throughput, and communication to children, young people and families
  • support service staff as directed by the operations manager with administrative functions Working in Teams Other Duties Undertake all work in accordance with The Junctions polices and practice including but not withstanding Information Security, Health and Safety, Risk Management Ensure that the highest standards of customer care are maintained at all times Positively promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and ensure that that safeguarding is recognised as everyones responsibility
