Responsibility
- to cover other Hospice shops as and when requested by the Head of Retail or the Area Shops Manager
- to drive shop performance against targets set by the Head of Retail, which will include driving sales, managing costs and developing a volunteer team within the shop
- to promote the Hospice shops as a key fundraising vehicle for the hospice and support promotional activities to raise the profile of the Hospice within the local community
- with the assistance of volunteer services, recruit volunteers for the shop and manage their induction, supervision, ongoing training and development in accordance with Hospice policies and procedures
- to be fully conversant with the Retail Gift aid process and ensure the shop volunteers are fully trained and able to promote the benefits of gift aid to donors
