Responsibility
- complying with other related regulations (e.g
- COSHH)
- working in a clean and professional manner ensuring minimum disruption to our guests and colleagues
- working safely at ALL times, conforming to statutory and company health and safety regulations especially with regards to fire procedures, manual handing, chemical usage and disposal of waste materials and reporting of accidents
- determining accurate quantities of materials required needed for the job by taking surface measurements or from specification or drawings, and correctly protecting work areas with dustsheets before starting the job
- being responsible for keeping and maintaining a satisfactory stock of material of any items required for ordering to the Property Maintenance Manager
- be prepared to participate in the out of hours ‘On Call’ Rota and flexible to adjust working patterns from time to time to facilitate the needs of the business
Requirements
- successful applicants should be able to work independently using their initiative with minimal direction from the Property Maintenance Manager
- be flexible in their attitude to working various shifts, and be capable of integrating themselves into a small maintenance team
- A quality based approach to both workmanship and providing support to the overall maintenance service of the hotel will also be an important requirement
