Requirements

  • excellent knowledge and experience of bookkeeping software’s such as SAGE 50 and SAGE 200
  • good knowledge of VAT and Payroll
  • previous accounts and finance experience essential
  • understanding of different currency transactions and Import VAT/duty
  • willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get involved
  • ability to prioritise your workload
  • valid driver’s license
  • finance: 5 years

Responsibility

  • leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly financial numbers and providing guidance to the Managing Director
  • bank, credit card and nominal reconciliations
  • overseeing the Purchase Ledger ensuring all the payments to suppliers and contractors are made within terms
  • issuing monthly Statements to our Customers in a timely manner
  • completing customers’ Trade References
