Ordered a Peacock Gudgeon online and specifically requested a male, and was told this would be “no problem” prior to purchase. The fish received was clearly female and also noticeably smaller than the advertised size (3.5–5cm).
When I contacted them about this, I was offered a replacement only if I placed another order and paid delivery again (£19.99), and they were unable to guarantee a male despite the original assurance.
After politely following up to clarify whether a male could be selected and if postage could be waived given the situation, communication stopped entirely despite being told I would receive a response that day.
The fish itself arrived alive and healthy, but the handling of the issue and after-sales support were disappointing.
I would recommend caution when ordering online if specific requirements are important.
Supposedly THE FISH DEN AQUATICS has a better image in the labor market than COCO & BLOOM. Is it really so?
Every statement counts! What is the current situation at THE FISH DEN AQUATICS? Has anyone worked there? We await any news on current state of the company.
