Responsibility
- assistant Practice Manager Hours 37.5 hours per week
- the role is complemented by the Operations Manager and Reception Supervisor working together as an operations team across the two sites
- you will be a key point of contact for staff in the day-to-day function of the practice including rotas and clinical appointment book management, HR support, clinical system maintenance and reporting and site management
- the successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years experience in working in a GP practice, including experience of staff management
- A good understanding of primary care systems, NHS and CQC standards and policy is required, with ability to prioritise competing demands, use own initiative, and to make decisions within practice guidelines
- to be able to address any issues as they arise with support from the wider management team
- they should be a good team player, able to make and communicate decisions and to deputize for the Practice Business Manager in their absence as required
- A varied and fast paced role, there will be opportunities for training and development and to lead on certain projects to bring quality improvement throughout the year as they arise
