- job location Hybrid - 2 days per week in our Ipswich office, rest home based
- employment status Permanent, Full-Time
- plan and organise the varying logistics requirements for each event
- liaise with event organisers and co-ordinate the timely delivery of requirements i.e. speaker bios, slide presentations, photos etc
- curate a database of prospective attendees to help promote event attendance using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and other platforms
- manage venues, caterers, couriers and promotional item suppliers etc
Requirements
- A basic knowledge of the UK/EU GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
- confident in using Microsoft applications , LinkedIn, HubSpot and WordPress
- understanding of the health and safety requirements relating to event management
- an ability to think logically and strategically
- attention to detail and analytical skills
- ability to handle conflicting deadlines and demands
- experience with online and virtual event platforms
- first and foremost, The DPO Centre is a service business

- ideally, an understanding of data protection and compliance regulation
- A marketing qualification, however, experience and practical knowledge is more valued than educational qualifications
- A minimum 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally from a professional service-related environment
