Responsibility
- to maintain efficient and effective office systems and processes, in keeping with the nature of a tightly run, small charity
- to provide administrative support for other charity functions including Finance and IT
- to work collaboratively with members of the office team to ensure the organisation is run smoothly and efficiently, in particular to take responsibility for the HR function
- the Children’s Literacy Charity provides literacy support for disadvantaged children in primary schools. Our vision is to close the literacy gap for all children, enabling them to achieve their true potential
- we are looking for a HR and Admin Officer for two days a week, to support with the delivery of high quality and efficient HR functions and admin support across the organisation
Requirements
- excellent personal organisation with a high attention to detail. Able to manage a number of tasks at any one time
- able to build strong, trusted relationships with the tutor team and work collaboratively with head office staff
- good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with staff and tutors in schools
- good communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide measured, well judged responses to HR matters
