Responsibility
- liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to overcome any product issue in the shortest possible time period and find alternative products and suppliers if required
- confirm orders have been received, ensuring that they correspond with the original orders placed and are of the quality standard expected
- carry out other general administration duties and support as required
- it is the duty of all employees to ensure that a safe working environment and safe working practices are maintained at all times
- day to day procurement of supplies on behalf of company to ensure continuity of the overall manufacturing process using the purchase order processing and stock control systems currently in place
- work with the Finance Manager and internal departments to ensure regularly purchased and high-value items are bought efficiently
- oversee stock levels and chase overdue/ forward orders from suppliers making sure they arrive on time to ensure the business will fulfil its orders
- assist with general enquiries from other departments within the business
