THE ADELAIDE NURSING HOME is looking for employees for positions:

Responsibility

  • prepare meals, including preferences, special diets and foods as needed
  • prepare menus and agree them with the Service Users and manager, including preferences, special diets and foods as needed
  • prepare and serve all meals, in a timely manner
  • ensure equipment supplied is used with care, in accordance with suppliers’ instructions and training
  • make up duty rotas for catering staff, ensuring there are enough skilled staff on duty
  • be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
  • operate an efficient stock control system
  • complete regular stock takes when requested by the manager
