Requirements
- A full and relevant child care qualification level 3 or above
- A full and relevant child care qualification level 3 or above and experience of working with children two and over
- montessori qualification or experience in a Montessori setting is desirable but not essential
- excellent knowledge of the EYFS
- what is essential is a positive attitude to the Montessori method of education and a desire to learn more
- A minimum of 2 years experience as Room Leader or Senior position
- A minimum of 2 years experience working with children in a nursery setting
- leadership experience is preferred but not essential
Responsibility
- the ideal person needs a positive, can-do approach to the setting and the individual care of children
- passionate about teaching and implementing EYFS and Montessori curriculum
- to role model behaviours including a strong ability to lead and motivate a team
- have worked with children aged 1 to 4 years and have good knowledge of their development
- montessori qualification or experience in Montessori setting is desirable but not essential
- teddy Bears Day Nursery is Montessori inspired day nursery located in the heart of Denton, just off the M67 with great links to the local community
- ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
