Requirements
- an ability to work independently, whilst interacting with other local and remote teams
- working knowledge of inventory management software and other relevant programs, to aid the proactive improvement of the company’s systems
- excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure efficient inventory operations
- the ability to multitask, as they often work on several tasks simultaneously
- strong analytical skills to accurately forecast inventory needs
- A broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operations processes
- to be successful in this role you should have a mind for clear organisation, structure and discipline. Previous experience or an understanding of networking equipment and affiliated technical items would be advantageous, but not essential
- strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with our supply chain
Responsibility
- prepare and document daily deliveries and shipments
- work with our third party couriers to ensure contracts are cost effective and claims are placed for lost or damaged items
- ensure an UpToDate inventory is held within our proprietary CRM of stock levels
- manage a system that’s transparent and simple, allowing stock to be moved efficiently by any member of the team if and when required
- ensure management of RMA tickets to return faulty equipment to suppliers or manufacturers
