Responsibility

• developing new business opportunities from both existing and new clients
• exploring and assessing future M & A opportunities
• reviewing and developing commercial operational processes to improve performance and maximise growth

• planning and managing daily commercial operations
• working together with relevant departments to produce tender documents as required
• establishing measurable and realistic commercial targets and ensuring that they are met
• working with the Financial controller to manage financial risk associated with new initiatives
• facilitating and developing cross-functional teams
• staying aware of the latest trends and developments and representing the business at industry events
• close interaction with Marketing, Procurement, IT, Research and Accounts teams

Requirements

• relevant experience in commercial aspects of Veterinary, Agricultural or Allied Industries
• self-motivated, entrepreneurial with the ability to learn and develop
• proven people skills, ability to network, manage a team and integrate with the business
