Responsibility
- take responsibility for the growth of a portfolio of customer accounts, taking ownership of the emotive relationship with the clients
- maintain high visibility within the client organisation, developing strong relationships with key contacts and senior-level stakeholders and obtaining regular feedback
- provide senior counsel and leadership to clients, cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key
- decision-makers and assisting them to achieve their goals through the proposal and development of high-quality medical communications
- raise the profile of emotive with clients by generating quality contact with senior-level stakeholders in
- raise the profile of emotive within target client companies
- client teams, franchises, procurement teams and with communications leads/heads
- take overall responsibility for all account deliverables and outputs and ensure the appropriate resource is secured and deployed as needed
Education
- bachelor’s Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area
- 5+ years experience in a healthcare agency environment or similar with clear career progression
Requirements
- degree in a relevant area is essential, with a science-related degree preferred
- MSc or PHD in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area
- good knowledge of all aspects of medical communications including key tactical services
- experience in a healthcare agency environment is essential
- several years experience in a healthcare agency environment or similar and in a similar role
- strong experience in leading the strategic planning and delivery of global promotional campaigns, particularly sales materials, digital collateral and congress
- experience in working with large global clients and ability for foreign travel to meetings
- experience in the design and delivery of patient engagement/disease awareness programmes
