Responsibility
- operate road fuel tankers for the safe delivery of goods to various locations
- plan and manage delivery routes to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, and delivery receipts
- communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
- adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations while on the road
- this role does involve a level of physical aptitude
- working and communicating as part of a team
Requirements
- previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role is advantageous but not essential
- familiarity with tanker ADR driving is advantageous but not essential
- A valid clean Class2 driving licence
- drivers DigiCard is required
- strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently is required
- sound communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- full training can be provided to successful applicants without tanker experience
- operating a modern fleet of road tankers, we invite drivers who conduct themselves in a professional manner with a strong and courteous work ethic
