Responsibility

  • setting, controlling and maintaining project budget
  • supporting the construction team by creating management tools such as programmes and progress checkers
  • ensuring that all problems are reported ahead of client intervention
  • swift Crafted Ltd is a carpentry, joinery and fit-out company which has been providing a quality service to both their commercial and domestic clients since 1987
  • we have a proven track record for delivering projects from domestic projects through to multi million pound commercial and residential joinery and fit out projects
  • ensuring that supplier and sub-contractor issues are reported before they impact on the company’s operations
  • we are currently seeking an experienced and commercially aware Senior Commercial Manager with a demonstrable Joinery and Fit Out background that includes a portfolio of high end, large commercial projects for our multi million pound heritage project in Manchester
  • ensuring that all applications and payments are in accordance with the contract and advising of any non-compliance

Requirements

  • professional Qualification RICS/MCIOB or similar
  • high level of personal drive and commitment with effective goal setting ability
  • commercial and contractual management skills
  • ability to critically analyse information and identify key issues
  • ability to attend regular client meetings in person, and represent SCL in a professional manner, ensuring appropriate records are registered
  • knowledge of construction best practices
  • knowledge of H&S and environmental legislation
  • planning management skills
