we are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school
this role requires a deep understanding of scientific concepts, strong instructional abilities, and the ability to create a positive learning environment
plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons in line with the school curriculum, utilising a variety of teaching strategies and resources
foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and active participation in scientific exploration
develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs
maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour
as a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons, fostering a passion for scientific inquiry, and supporting the academic and personal development of students

Requirements
qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching certification
proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably within a similar educational context
strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of scientific concepts across multiple disciplines
excellent instructional skills, including the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas in a clear and accessible manner
ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
effective classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a disciplined and orderly learning environment
bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Education or a specialised area of Science is preferred
exceptional organisational and time-management skills to effectively plan lessons, manage resources, and assess student work
