Responsibility
- provide support to the Finance Director and help run the day-to day activities of the finance department
- maintaining accurate records, reconciling, allocating and posting transactions
- checking and processing of supplier invoices using Sage software and statement reconciliation
- arranging and processing weekly payment runs for suppliers
- sterling Meat Company Ltd are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the finance department at our Head Office and Distribution Depot in Astley, Manchester

- working closely with, and reporting to the Finance Director, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join the team at our established and growing chain of high street retail stores across the Northwest and Yorkshire regions
- administration of Company credit cards and expenses claims
Requirements
- A highly organised, diligent, and motivated with ability to cope under pressure to meet deadlines
- excellent time management skills
- experience of providing financial information and reporting to Company Directors
- A strong communicator with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels
- experience in Sage Accounts/Sage Payroll
- relevant professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in a finance role
- at least 3-years’ experience working in accounts/payroll required
- finance/Accounts: 1 year
