Responsibility
- lead and manage the team ensuring that all staff perform well and in line with company aims, goals and objectives
- provide direction for the team, engage, motivate and inspire others; support the transformational changes within the setting, give a sense of purpose to the playroom and be an exceptional role model for others
- lead and manage employees in accordance with company policies, national legislation and guidelines, including prioritising work and evaluations throughout the playroom
- create an environment in which people can do their best work, setting and agreeing standards through performance reviews and addressing unacceptable standards of performance or behaviour
- 26. Ensure the department meets all health and safety requirements and that any maintenance requirements are reported/addressed as necessary
- 28. Minimise cost of staffing by ensuring that overtime is kept to a minimum, whilst ensuring a high quality of provision
- 23. Mentor and support students within the playroom and ensure they meet company standards, ensuring any successes or concerns are passed on to Manager/Depute
