Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- prepare load assessments and structural calculations
- specify standard and bespoke products designed specifically for relevant projects
- compile lintel schedules from architectural and structural engineer’s drawings
- create and detail customer drawings for special lintels
- liaise and support the sales team and Chartered Structural Engineer
- provide structural performance calculations at the customer’s request
- liaise with customers and undertake site visits where necessary
- follow procedures and maintain CE marking records
Requirements
- third level qualification in an Engineering related discipline e.g Structural or Civil Engineering
- experience in a structural engineering design environment
- working knowledge of AutoCad, Solidworks and a structural engineering package
- competent in use of MS Office
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- full driving license
